it pretty much rocked. such a great way to start the day – with a delish, organic smoothie. yum!

i spent a very much needed day with my best friend. aimee and i have been bffs for about fifteen years now. we made plans about a week ago to go thrifting, so that’s what we did! first stop was goodwill, and clothing as 50% off, so we spent a lot of time digging around. we went in the dressing room with about fifty items combined to try on.

lunch at chipotle. aimee is by far the pickiest eater i know. she’s always been this way. i think she spends more time dissecting her food than actually eating it. it’s hilarious. she got a vegetarian burrito and i got a veggie bowl. (:

we went to newport to check out some antique shops, costume stores, and other thrift shops. it always super for to explore a part of town you’ve never really noticed before. everyone was super friendly and people kept commenting on my hair. there are so many weird, crazy and creepy things you can find at antique shops and thrift stores – i love it. (:

i got this amazing wig on sale. at first, aimee gave it to me to try on as a joke, but it actually ended up looking pretty killer. i couldn’t not buy it.

after our thrifting session, i took aimee geocaching. she’d never been before so it was a pretty exciting deal. i actually never really thought this was something she’d get into because she’s a pretty girly, feminine girl. she really liked it, so i was stoked! i was hoping to find some big caches with her, but most big ones are hidden in the woods. we were both wearing coochie cutters and flip flops, so neither one of us wanted to be trucking around in the forest!

all in all, it was a fabulous day. i love aimee to death and i had such an amazing day with her. xo

alright. let’s get down to business. today i decided i was not going to do anything unless i felt completely inspired. anything. if i didn’t feel inspired to shower, i wouldn’t shower. if i had no inspiration to speak all day, i wouldn’t. i wanted to act purely on love and inspiration.

this morning was crazy foggy. it was beautiful. as soon as i wake up, i like to wander around and soak in nature. i like to stop and admire the beauty. i captured the foggy pasture and this bee, that was balls deep in a pretty flower.

i kind of puttered around my place, as i didn’t have any inspiration to do much. i looked at a romper i purchased at a thrift store and never wore. i didn’t try it on, so when i got home, i realized it made my ass look weird and i wasn’t too keen on it. i looked at it and suddenly got the urge to cut it in half. i turned in into a crop top and i felt so much love. my vibration was already growing like crazy this morning.

i had a gig on fiverr i recorded, and had lots of fun with that. i just danced around, threw it in imovie, exported it and sent it on it’s way. easy money.

i didn’t feel inspired to eat, so i didn’t.

i stopped into kroger, said hello to a few friends, laughed and chatted with my friend julie, built my vibration higher and higher and started craving a green beverage. i shot over to the produce department for some superfood and a banana. it hit the spot like no other. i was in love.

i ran a few minor errands here and there, nothing too crazy. made a significant deposit to my checking account, paid some bills, etc. i was driving around like a mad woman. i was singing at the top of my lungs, beating on my steering wheel, and smiling at everyone who passed.

i went to borders, soaked up the free wifi and spent hours answer e-mails. i set up multiple gigs on fiverr, chatted with my best friend and just focused on work. all i wanted to do was work. all i wanted to do was promote my site. why? because i wish everyone could feel like this. i purchased “the power” by rhonda byrne and i felt good about hanging the cashier (who was a complete sweetheart) a twenty dollar bills because money flows to me easily and effortlessly. (;

i went to kroger again, picked up some fruits and veggies and amy’s vegan mac & cheese (that shit is to die for).

on the way home, i was so filled with joy and love and appreciation. i felt invincible. i felt on top of the world. i was so happy, so joyous all day, i needed an outlet. i seriously just started crying because i was overflowing with joy. the rush and the high was so freaking intense, i lost it. don’t get me wrong, i wasn’t sobbing or anything. it was more like a sweet cry; you know – those cute two or three tear drops that flow ever so softly down your face. i kept getting goosebumps all day. it was seriously so intense.

i came home! i chatted with mom and just took it easy. i rambled on and on about everything i loved and everything i was excited about. mom just looked at me like i was a nut case. i made some mac and cheese. my best friend, jon, called me and i updated him on my life the past two days. “i’m living in a dream world,” i tell him. he laughs at me and says he “likes the crazy jetta.” you see, to any outsider, i seem like a complete nut job. it’s totes whacky. i told jon with the way my life is going, in less than a year, i will be 100% self sufficient (from my web site alone), traveling the world and tripping balls 24/7.

now, as the night slows, i am coming down from my high. i am still happy and motivated and loving and feeling inspired, but i don’t feel insane. i honestly felt like punching walls earlier, i was so amped up haha. it was incredible. i want you to share this journey with me. i want you to take my hand and jump onto this amazing ride called life. it’s one trip that you will not be able to believe. (:

the mister lives super close to coney, so it was only about a five minute drive. (:

ray ended up having to work today.  to be honest, i just mainly sat on my ass…did a bit of writing, but mainly just watched nip/tuck.  when he got home, we went out to meet his family for sushi.

we ended up going to beluga in hyde park.  it was super cute.  very classy and modern.  i adored it.

the food was incredible.  the mister and i got mass amounts of sushi, and didn’t even end up eating our main course, as we were stuffed!

i actually thought today was going to be a pretty lazy day.

i woke up and my stomach was a bit upset.  i slept in a little later than i would have liked.  i made some toast and now that i am writing about it, i am craving more more…

i thought for sure i was just going to lounge around all day.  i was wrong!

as you probably already know, i’m a huge fan of geocaching.  the mister and i decided to hit up east fork state park, as there are a few in that area.  we’ve found nearly off of them around his place, so when we want to go caching, we have to make somewhat of a drive!

we rode our bikes for about three miles and it was ridiculously hot.  my clothes were soaking wet.  that was to be expected. there was only one that we were unable to find.  we spent ages dodging spider webs and the mister up-rooted some old, dead trees.  it was a pretty fabulous day.

i got home and made no-bake cookies.  i snagged the recipe from shutterboo, which you can snag here.  they were utterly fabulous, but i didn’t expect anything less.  (;

later in the evening, i met up with amanda, a friend who i’ve grown a bit out of touch with.  her and i haven’t really hung out in nearly two years, so it was super nice to catch up.  we ended up hitting up jb fins in newport.  i had about five cranberry juices and a shot of plain redbull.  oh, the life of a straightedge kid in the bar.

some guy kept getting a little too close for comfort and kept leaning in on me.  he ended up showing me his tattoo of two crabs on his stomach, and i of course snapped a shot, which i do not have to share with you, so you’ll just have to take my word on the matter.

amanda and i sat at the bar and talked about lesbians, promiscuity, hook-ups, boyfriend troubles, mani-pedis and lots of other chatter.  it was super great to catch up with her.  (: i saw an old friend, dj, and tackled about seven people to run over and give him a hug.  okay, well, maybe not exactly.  it was crazy nice to see him as well.  (:

i met a lady friend of doug’s who seemed to be just as obsessed with taking photos of everything as i am.

what am i grateful for?

• the fact that my life is a constant adventure.
• catching up with old friends and making new ones.
• being able to see the beauty in everything.

i absolutely adore northside, just because of it’s hipser-esque feel.  there’s an amazing vegan friendly restaurant that i eat at (about once a week) called melt.  i generally always get the penne & cheese for lunch or dinner, and the vegan seitan, egg & cheese melt for brunch.  it’s amazing.

i posted an update on facebook announcing that i needed an adventure.  my friend doug sent me a message asking to hang.  doug and i used to be closer when i went out and he bartended.  we fell out of touch a bit, and he ended up moving to louisville so we didn’t speak too much.  i was pretty happy to hear from him.

we started out our journey by visiting shake-it records and melt for lunch.

we found lots of fabulous street art, and of course posed like a couple of tourists.

i love this.  the bright colours make me very happy and excited.  i think it goes pretty well with my hair.  (;

we got into a little accident.  i stopped to make a left hand turn, as there was traffic coming, and i heard a big THUD!  a motorcyclist rear-ended me!  it did some pretty gnarly damage to my car, so that kinda sucked, but nothing compared to his knee injury.  it was freaky.  nothing was going to stop me from enjoying my fabulous adventure, though.  he insisted he was fine, and i wasn’t worried about the damage done to my car, so we went our separate ways.

…and more, and more and more.

it was at this point that my poor foot got injured!  we were just walking around and i felt a sharp pain.  i had stepped on a broken beer bottle and the glass went through my flip flop!  youch!  luckily there were some ladies that had a band-aid. it wasn’t a terribly bad cut, just kinda gross.  but, me being me, i did not let this little hiccup put a damper on my day! (:

i am so happy and extremely grateful for this day.  my life is truly incredible.  i find adventure wherever i go.  i live in the moment and have so much fun.
